Training and Development Manager

Location: Hampshire

Salary: £31,978 - £36,547

Hours: 37 hours - Monday - Thursday 9:30am - 5:30pm, Friday - 9:30am - 5pm

Flexibility is required to attend events in the evenings and at the weekends.

Main purpose and scope of the job:

Designing and delivering comprehensive and engaging training programmes for new recruits and existing employees, volunteers and Trustees ensuring materials are relevant and up to date with new data and in line with revised laws and government initiatives around domestic abuse.

Actively identifying specific learning techniques for individuals and adjust the training activities to suit those required, ensuring a variety for diverse groups.

Ensuring all staff have completed and are up to date with training that is relevant to their individual job role via organisational skills audit.

Working closely with Hampshire Safeguarding Children’s Partnership (HSCP) and Hampshire Safeguarding Adults Board (HSAB) to develop and deliver high quality training to Hampshire workforce, meeting contractual requirements.

Liaising with external partners and organisations to promote and deliver external training packages that acts as an income generator for Stop Domestic abuse and promote the mission and objectives of the organisation.

Attending recruitment fairs with HR representatives to further promote the training services. Working in partnership with the Volunteers and Routes to Employment Manager to prepare volunteers

who are looking to enter the workforce.
