Salary: £29,276 - £29,694

Hours: 37 hours - Monday - Thursday 9:30am - 5:30pm, Friday - 9:30am - 5pm

Main purpose and scope of the job:

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all aspects of Basingstoke refuge and Dispersed Safe Accommodation in Basingstoke service.

Managing services that provide support, advice and assistance to adults and their children affected by domestic abuse and are staying in refuge/dispersed safe accommodation, ensuring they are provided with secure, high-quality accommodation and support.

Recruiting, inducting, supervising, leading and developing staff within policy and quality standards and toprovide a range of high-quality services.

Initiate, develop, maintain and monitor multi-agency links through procedures and protocols to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic abuse.

To develop effective relationships with relevant local organisations to raise the profile of domestic violence and its impact on families and to publicise the support networks. Working in partnership with Police, Social Services, Education and Health etc. to ensure that all victims and survivors using our services have the best possible support and opportunities.

Work with other local organisations and groups, through partnership, to establish a safe and accessible place for women and families to meet in the community and to provide and facilitate support to prevent domestic abuse.

Participate in the delivery of the on-call out of hours service on a rota basis.
