Salary: £25,614.24 - £27,720.54

Location: Winchester & Basingstoke Hospital

Hours: Full time (37 hours per week)

Work Pattern: Monday - Thursday 9.30am - 5.30pm & Friday 9.30am - 5.00pm.

The post holder will be required to work evenings and weekends on a rota basis, which is included with the working hours.

Main purpose and scope of the job:

To develop and promote the Health Domestic Abuse Pathway for support.

To ensure that Emergency Departments (ED) and Maternity Services are aware of the pathway, understand how to ask the screening questions, record the information, and share this with relevant services. 

To attend the hospitals to provide support, guidance, training, and advice to staff on using the tools and also to advise on any concerns

Provide education to ED and Maternity Services on identification and the impact of domestic abuse.

Be a direct link for BNHH to refer patients suffering domestic abuse and to provide advice and support.

To assess patients risk, provide immediate safety advice and support and make referrals to the most appropriate services. 

To provide one-to one support for those patients referred to the service for support.
