Salary: £24,000 - £24,619

Responsible to: Senior CYP Worker

Location: Basingstoke

Hours: 37 (Mon - Thurs 09.30-17.30, Fri 09.30 – 17.00)

Contract: Permanent

On call responsibility - Yes

MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB

The focus of the role is to prevent young people entering abusive and/or exploitative relationships by providing group work and holistic one-to-one support.

The post holder will work to increase young people’s knowledge and understanding about healthy/unhealthy relationships, domestic abuse, type of exploitation, how to recognise abusive/exploitative tactics and where to seek support and advice.

To empower young people to make safe choices and to develop an individual safety and support plans.

To participate in the delivery of the on-call out of hours on a rota basis.
