Domestic Abuse Refuge Project Worker, Women *Female STOPDA 507

Salary: £24,000 - £24,619

Location - East Hampshire

Hours: 37 hours per week . The Hampshire Service is staffed 9.30am-5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 9.30am to 5.00pm on Friday.

Contract : Permanent

MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB

To provide support, advice and assistance to women who have experienced domestic violence and are staying in the refuge.

The post-holder will work to empower and support women to make positive choices.

To provide support, advice and assistance to women who have experienced domestic abuse and are staying in the refuge.

To establish resettlement services to support women and children to move on from refuge accommodation.

The post-holder work as part of the refuge team, with clients who live in the refuge.

To participate in the delivery of the on-call out of hours service on a rota basis.
