Children & Young people
Through the introduction of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021, children and young people are now recognised as victims of domestic abuse in their own right.
Domestic abuse can have a devastating impact on children and young people, who may be at risk of serious harm to both their emotional and physical health.
Children who witness domestic abuse are at risk of both short and long-term physical and mental health issues. Each child's response to the trauma of domestic abuse will be unique.
We work with children & young people who have or are living with domestic abuse.
We can offer:
1 to 1 support
Group Work at schools
Workshops in the holidays
Attend community events
Specialist Services:
Teenage Intimate Partner Abuse Specialist (TIPAS)
Teenage Exploitation and Abusive Relationships (TEAR)

If you are concerned that a child or young person may be at imminent risk of domestic abuse, always call 999 immediately.
If you are concerned that a child or young person could be at non-immediate risk, we can offer support.
