Save the date to double your donation through The Big Give this October

We are excited to announce that we are one of the charities selected to participate in The Big Give’s Women & Girls Match Fund 2024.

Every donation made to our campaign via BigGive.org during the week of 10th to 17th October – will be doubled!

Through the Big Give, we're raising funds for our Sanctuary Appeal to build a purpose-built refuge for women and children escaping domestic abuse.

The Sanctuary Appeal aims to provide a sanctuary - a place of safety, support and empowerment for women and children in Havant. This new refuge is urgently needed because there is a shortage of refuge space in Hampshire, and currently only one room available to wheelchair users who need refuge accommodation.

This is why we will build our new refuge. It will be more than just bricks and mortar; it will be a symbol of resilience and compassion. It will provide bespoke, fully-accessible family accommodation where survivors of domestic abuse can begin to rebuild their lives.

Can you help?

Please save the date and consider making a donation through this page Help women and children escape from domestic abuse (biggive.org) when it opens for donations at midday on 10th October. Your donation will be doubled at no additional cost to you.

We’d doubly appreciate it if you could share the campaign with your friends, family or social networks – anyone who may be interested in having their donation doubled!

You can also consider making a donation or paying in funds raised by your community – through BigGive.org during the campaign week in October. Donations can be made by card payment or, for larger donations, by BACs transfer.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us at changemaker@stopdomesticabuse.uk
