Salary: £25,750 - £26,383
Location: Portsmouth
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday 9.00am to Friday 5.00pm

Main purpose and scope of the job:
The Domestic Abuse Navigator (Children and Young People) is a key member of the team, working to support children and young people to recover from trauma and build confidence.
The work will focus on preventing and breaking the cycle of domestic abuse by providing support for children and young people in the community and supporting children and young people to keep safe.
Providing targeted group work and workshops to children and young people, increasing their knowledge of healthy and unhealthy behaviours, awareness of where to access support and break the cycle of domestic abuse.
Identifying behaviours that may put the child/young person at increased risk of victimisation or offending and delivering interventions to target these.
Working with schools to increase attendance and reduce exclusion and supporting children and young people to access and maintain education.
The Portsmouth Service is staffed 9am-9pm Monday to Friday and 10am-6pm Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. Staff will work evenings and weekends on a rota basis and provide on call services to deal with emergencies and refuge referrals.
