MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB
Working within dispersed accommodation provided by Eastleigh District Council provide intensive support to the victim / survivor and their child(ren) living within the properties.
Providing high-quality crisis intervention, information, advocacy, and proactive support to victims / survivors who access the Housing and Homelessness Service
Working with colleagues to increase knowledge and develop responses to victims and survivors of domestic abuse through formal and informal training sessions, this includes colocation within the council.
Providing resettlement support to victims of domestic abuse moving on from Stop Domestic Abuse safe acccommodation
Supporting victims to understand their housing options to aid in the prevention/relief of homelessness and access or maintain suitable, safe accommodation.
