Domestic Abuse Senior Outreach Worker

It is essential that the postholder has a driving license and access to a car for work purposes as this role may cover multiple sites.

Salary: £29,276 - £29, 694
Location: East Hampshire
Main purpose and scope of the job:
To manage, develop and coordinate all aspects of specified Stop Domestic Abuse projects and services.
To provide support, advice and assistance to women, men and their families who have experienced domestic abuse or are at risk of domestic abuse.
To manage a caseload delivering workshops, group work and one-to-one support to adults in community based settings.
To line manage a multi-disciplinary team.
To review monitoring data and outcomes of the team, addressing any discrepancies and ensuring that targets are met.
To work in partnership with voluntary and statutory sector organisations and the community, attending meetings and events including in the evenings and at weekends.
To focus on preventing domestic abuse by providing support and facilitating safe space for victims and survivors of domestic abuse and peer support networks in the community and supporting women and men to keep safe in and maintain their current or new accommodation.
Work to empower and support all victims and survivors of domestic abuse to make positive choices.
