Portsmouth:

Salary: £25,750 - £26,383

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday: 9am - 5pm

Contract: Fixed Term Contract - Maternity Cover until November 2026 or until postholder returns

Main purpose and scope of the job:

Supporting men and women in acknowledging and addressing their unhealthy attitudes and behaviours in order to be free from domestic abuse and support them to build resilience and develop and improve their sense of confidence and self-worth.

Delivering high-quality therapeutic interventions to victims and survivors of domestic abuse with complex and multiple needs who, display unhealthy relationship attitudes and behaviours.

Providing one-to-one specialist domestic abuse and complex needs assessment using specialist risk assessment tools.

Working in partnership with voluntary and statutory sector organisations and the community and strengthen and develop links with other services to increase collaborative working and understanding of the Up2U: My Choice programme.

To participate in the on-call out of hours service rota. This is a 24-hour, 7 day a week service running outside of usual service hours. The on-call out of hours service may involve the following duties and responsibilities, this is not an exhaustive list and is subject to change to ensure contract and service delivery requirements are met by the organisation and to provide a high-quality service to people affected by domestic abuse.
