Domestic Abuse Behaviour Change Worker (UP2U My Choice) STOPDA 416

Salary: £24,000 - £24,619

Working Hours: 37 hours per week - Monday to Thursday 9.30am to 5.30pm Friday 9.30am - 5.00pm

Contract: Permanent

 MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB

This is an exciting opportunity to support victims and survivors of domestic abuse with complex and multiple needs who, through their own experience of abuse, display unhealthy relationship attitudes and behaviours. This will be achieved by delivering a behaviour change intervention (Up2U) which is an innovative programme which seeks to prevent the cycle of abuse.

This exciting project will deliver Up2U: My Choice which is designed to explore relationship dynamics (romantic, friendships, with children/other family members are professionals), to recognise and manage emotions and thoughts and to develop skills to manage difficult situations The Behaviour Change Worker will empower all victims/survivors to make positive choices and improve self-confidence and self-worth.

It is essential that the postholder has a driving licence and access to a car for work purposes as these roles cover multiple sites.
