Stop Domestic Abuse receives donation from The Oaks Havant Crematorium

We are delighted to have received a donation of £7000 from The Oaks Havant Crematorium in support of our vital services for victims and survivors of domestic abuse in Havant.

In Havant, we provide refuge accommodation and dispersed accommodation for families fleeing from domestic abuse as well as practical and emotional support for adults and children remaining in their own homes. We have provided services in the Borough since 1977 when the first domestic abuse refuge for women and children was opened in Havant. We have now grown to become the commissioned service provider for domestic abuse services throughout Hampshire, Portsmouth and Southampton.

“We are grateful to The Oaks Havant Crematorium for supporting Stop Domestic Abuse with this donation. One in 4 women, one in 7 children and one in 6 men are affected by domestic abuse and we work to provide advice, support and safe accommodation to anyone affected. Thanks to The Oaks Havant Crematorium and our other supporters, we can continue to provide specialist support to victims and survivors of domestic abuse. Free confidential advice and support is available to anyone in Hampshire through our Hampshire Helpline which can be reached on 0330 0533 630 or by email advice@stopdomesticabuse.uk”.

Here at The Oaks Havant Crematorium, we take pride in supporting our local community where we can. We are pleased to share our most recent Metal Recycling donation of £7000 to Stop Domestic Abuse. The team is grateful knowing this donation is being put back into a local charity chosen by them and how this will benefit others in many different ways. Stop Domestic Abuse supports so many people at their time of need and we are proud to support you in supporting others.”
