Training and Development Manager – STOPDA70

Working Hours: 37 hours per week. Part time hours will be considered for an outstanding applicant, but the hours will need to fit with the requirements of both Stop Domestic Abuse and the external agencies we work with.
The Training and Development Manager will develop and implement Stop Domestic Abuse’s internal and external training policy including the support, training and management of apprentices and student placements. You will play a key part in the training of new staff members, volunteers, Trustees and the development of existing staff, volunteers and Trustees as well as providing a wide range of training courses for external organisations and professional groups.
MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB
To develop and deliver internal training packages in line with the organisation’s learning and development strategy
To develop and deliver external training to a wide variety of professional partners and community organisations, to improvement awareness, recognition and response to domestic abuse within Hampshire and Portsmouth.
To act as the point of contact and liaison between apprentices, students and their line managers/tutors at college
